This installation was made for a group show in Athens in 2011, during the economic crisis. To make the pictures I placed each of the characters in front of a high resolution videocamera. while recording a player was reproducing dramatic news and funny news alternately. Each portrait is the exact "frame" in the ending laughing and getting serious. The expressive intensity of the faces comes from the different relaxation rate of facial features.
Esta instalación fue realizada para una exposición colectiva en Atenas en 2011, en plena crisis económica. Para hacer los retratos situé a cada uno de los personajes frente a una cámara de vídeo de alta resolución. Una grabadora reproducía noticias dramáticas y noticias divertidas alternativamente. Cada retrato es el "frame" exacto en el que terminan de reírse y se ponen serios. La intensidad expresiva de los rostros proviene de la diferente velocidad de relajación de los rasgos faciales.
